Did You Know? Newborn Moose Calves can weigh up to 45lbs!

Generally, moose calves weigh between 28 lbs-35 lbs and, although more rare, can weigh up to 45 lbs. That's a big baby!

Moose calves begin eating their first solids only a few days after birth but continue to nurse until they are weaned in the fall.

These big babies will get even bigger, growing to over 500 lbs in their first 5 months. That's gaining around 100 lbs per month.

Although they grow fast, moose calves only stay with their mom until they are about one year old. Then their mom will run them off so she can safely birth her next calf.

Orders of 1-2 postcards can be shipped via envelope with NO TRACKING NUMBER. To include tracking on small order shipping, make sure to select the correct option at checkout.

Orders of 3 or more postcards MUST be shipped via bubble mailer and will include tracking.

Please allow up to 1 full week for shipping to complete. The post office is far away for us and with current gas prices, we only go to town once a week!

Please allow plenty of time (at least a week) for your shipment to arrive after we fulfill your order, Alaska is a good distance from almost everywhere. Except Canada..
